PROJECT OVERVIEW
AON envisioned its new Bengaluru workplace as more than just another corporate office—it wanted a flagship workspace spanning approximately 2,25,000 sq. ft. that reflected its global identity, supported future ways of working, and delivered a premium employee experience.
Spread across three office floors, the project required careful planning, seamless coordination, and precise execution within a highly compressed timeline. Every element—from workstation planning and integrated greenery to premium finishes—was designed to create a workplace that balanced functionality, aesthetics, and employee wellbeing.
Rockworth collaborated closely with DC Studio and Colliers to deliver a future-ready workplace that met international quality standards, completing the project on 30 April 2026 within the committed timeline and ahead of the client’s inauguration.

CLIENT VISION
AON wanted its Bengaluru office to become a benchmark workplace that would:
- Reflect the company’s global brand identity.
- Move away from conventional office environments.
- Create a premium, contemporary workspace.
- Improve employee comfort and collaboration.
- Integrate modern workplace trends with functionality.
- Deliver an international-quality office experience.
Rather than replicating previous offices, the client wanted a workspace that represented the future of work.

BUSINESS CHALLENGES
Designing a workspace of this scale presented several challenges.
Creating a New Workplace Identity
The Bengaluru office was intended to represent a significant evolution from AON’s existing workplaces. The design needed to feel modern, premium, and globally aligned while maintaining consistency throughout all three floors.
Premium Yet Functional
The workspace had to combine high-end finishes with practical usability. Every workstation, collaborative zone, and circulation area needed to support everyday operations without sacrificing visual appeal.
Time-Critical Delivery
The office had a fixed inauguration date attended by AON’s global leadership.
This meant:
- Zero flexibility in project completion.
- Strict adherence to quality standards.
- Seamless coordination between multiple stakeholders.
- Efficient installation across three active floors.

ROCKWORTH’S SOLUTION
Rockworth developed a workplace solution that combined customization, ergonomic planning, and premium detailing.
Customized Workstations
Every workstation was specifically configured to support dual-monitor setups.
This ensured:
- Better ergonomics
- Increased desk usability
- Efficient cable management
- Comfortable long-duration working
The customized layouts maintained generous personal workspace despite accommodating additional equipment.

Integrated Biophilic Design
To soften the workspace and enhance employee wellbeing, custom metal planter boxes were introduced between workstation screens.
These additions offered several benefits:
- Natural visual separation
- Improved aesthetics
- Biophilic workplace elements
- Premium visual appeal across workstation clusters
The result was a more vibrant and engaging office environment.
Premium Workspace Experience
Material finishes, workstation layouts, and overall detailing were carefully selected to match international workplace standards.
The design emphasized:
- Contemporary aesthetics
- Cohesive colour palettes (Blue, Red, White, Dark Grey, Light Grey)
- Clean architectural lines
- Long-term durability
- Premium user experience

EXECUTION STRATEGY
Delivering three office floors simultaneously required exceptional coordination.
Rockworth implemented a structured floor-wise execution strategy.
Key Execution Activities
- Floor-wise production planning
- Sequential dispatch scheduling
- Controlled delivery management
- Planned installation sequence
- Continuous site coordination
This approach minimized congestion on-site while ensuring uninterrupted project progress.

PROJECT CHALLENGES
Although execution remained on schedule, several operational complexities emerged during installation.
Multi-Floor Coordination
Managing installation across three floors simultaneously required careful synchronization between logistics, installation teams, architects, and site management.
Dynamic Site Changes
As site conditions evolved, furniture allocations required adjustment.
Several workstation components were interchanged between floors to match revised layouts and accommodate real-time construction developments.
The installation team adapted quickly without affecting overall timelines.
Compressed Timeline
Working towards a fixed inauguration date demanded:
- Faster decision-making
- Real-time coordination
- Flexible execution planning
- Strict milestone tracking
Despite these pressures, the project remained on schedule.

COLLABORATION
Successful execution depended on close coordination among all project stakeholders.
Rockworth maintained continuous communication with:
- DC Studio (Architect)
- Colliers (PMC)
- Client representatives
- Installation teams
Regular coordination meetings enabled:
- Quick layout reviews
- Technical clarifications
- Timely approvals
- Immediate resolution of site queries
This collaborative approach minimized delays and ensured smooth project execution.
INNOVATIVE EXECUTION APPROACH
One of the defining features of this project was the floor-wise execution methodology.
Instead of treating the project as one large installation, every floor was planned independently while remaining part of an integrated schedule.
This strategy enabled:
- Better logistics control
- Reduced material congestion
- Faster installation
- Improved quality checks
- Efficient manpower deployment
- Minimal disruption to parallel site activities
The structured execution model played a major role in meeting the client’s deadline.
